that summer in Chicago is awesome: the never-ending park festivals. Today we took the train downtown to Grant Park for Jazz Fest. We saw two wedding parties at Buckingham Fountain, a whole lot of art and other crafty stuff, and laid on the grass and listened to several different jazz bands.
The weather has been really wonderful this entire summer - much milder than we expected, and totally conducive to spending as much time as possible outdoors. Mild summer = mild winter??! We hope . . . we really, really hope . . .
