Duke notified us today that I've received a partial merit scholarship. While we're still waiting to hear from UNC, where they let us know I was a finalist for scholarships, we weren't expecting anything at all from Duke. It's a great school, and we counted ourselves lucky to have gotten in, so a scholarship really is icing on the cake!
It's not a full ride, but it will cover about 25% of my tuition each year. And that's 25% less we'll owe back in two years!
